Exploring the Story Behind O Ri O Sanwariya

The song O Ri O Sanwariya is set in the enchanting town of Mangalpur in North India. The plot revolves around Yashoda (played by Tabu), a gifted dancer from Bengal, who is in love with Vasudev (Jisshu). However, Madhav, the son of Dushund Acharya (Rajesh Sharma), secretly loves her too. When he learns of Yashoda and Vasudev’s relationship, he unleashes chaos by summoning the demon Vadhusur, leading to a forced marriage with Yashoda and leaving Vasudev heartbroken.
