Badshah's Nightclub Faces Closure

Rapper Badshah has recently faced challenges following the closure of his nightclub in Chandigarh. On June 2, local authorities shut down the venue, SAGO, located in Sector 26, due to alleged unauthorized construction and violations of building codes. This action is part of a broader initiative by the Chandigarh administration to regulate nightlife establishments in the region. Reports suggest that similar enforcement actions were taken against two or three other nearby nightclubs.

The closure of Badshah's SAGO was carried out by the Enforcement wing of the Chandigarh administration.

Details Behind the Closure

According to reports from officials at the Estate Office, significant unauthorized constructions were found on both the ground and second floors of the nightclub. These included the addition of restrooms and kitchens, as well as the creation of partitions and storage spaces. Modifications to the approved building plan, changes to the building's elevation, and the installation of temporary structures were also noted.

A notice was reportedly issued to the nightclub on April 25, requiring the establishment to rectify the unauthorized structures and violations. However, it seems that the necessary corrections were not made, leading to the closure of the venue.

During the inspection, authorities identified several compliance issues. Additionally, it is rumored that notices have been dispatched to other establishments, with further actions pending based on the outcomes of ongoing inspections.

Badshah's Recent Legal Troubles

In a separate incident, Badshah made headlines when his song Tateeree was removed from social media platforms. A total of 857 links related to the track were taken down following a complaint filed in Panchkula regarding inappropriate lyrics and visuals in the music video. In response to the backlash, Badshah issued an apology via a video message, clarifying that his lyrics were never intended to offend anyone and that he aims to represent the culture and language of Haryana.

On a personal note, Badshah recently tied the knot with Isha Rikhi, and images from their intimate wedding have been circulating widely on social media.
