Clips from the promotional event quickly gained traction on social media. In one video, Rakul was seen exploring the area while Ayushmann, Wamiqa, and the rest of the crew remained in their jeeps. Given the park's protected status, concerns arose online regarding the actress's compliance with regulations.

In response to the concerns, officials from Gir National Park issued a statement confirming that Rakul did not violate any rules and was not walking within the park's boundaries. The Deputy Conservator of Forests, Wildlife Division, Sasan-Gir, clarified that the footage was captured outside the entry point, emphasizing that the incident did not take place in a restricted area. According to park regulations, individuals are prohibited from leaving their safari vehicles once inside the sanctuary.

The statement further elaborated that Rakul had arrived with her team for a scheduled visit but faced a medical issue before entering the sanctuary. Consequently, her team escorted her back, and she did not enter the sanctuary grounds. The officer concluded by assuring that no regulations were breached.
