The comedy flick made an impressive debut, raking in ₹15.25 crore at the domestic box office, and continues to perform strongly even after a week.

On Wednesday, the film's daily earnings were around ₹4.5 crore, but Thursday saw a notable increase in revenue for 'Welcome To The Jungle'.

Thursday's Earnings for 'Welcome To The Jungle'
As per preliminary reports, 'Welcome To The Jungle' generated over ₹5 crore on its seventh day at the domestic box office. The early estimates indicate that the film, featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal, earned approximately ₹5.25 crore on Thursday, a number that may increase further by morning.

The comedy film initially earned ₹3.75 crore from paid previews and opened with ₹15.25 crore on its first day. On its second day (Saturday), it attracted around ₹20 crore. The film maintained strong audience interest on Sunday, achieving a single-day collection of about ₹24.75 crore. Following this, it earned ₹8.5 crore on Monday, ₹9.25 crore on the fifth day, and around ₹4 crore on the sixth day. In total, the film has accumulated a net collection of ₹92.90 crore at the domestic box office over the week.

Will 'Alpha' Challenge Akshay Kumar's Success?
As 'Welcome To The Jungle' approaches the ₹100-crore milestone in India, its global earnings have also been remarkable. The film has grossed a total of ₹137.07 crore worldwide, successfully recouping its ₹125-crore production budget. In international markets, it has earned ₹26.45 crore. Despite a strong first week, the box office landscape may shift with the release of the Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol starrer 'Alpha' on July 3, which could present a significant challenge to Akshay Kumar's comedy film.
