Virat Kohli and Rahul Vaidya End Their Social Media Feud
Resolution of the Rivalry
The ongoing feud between Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and Bigg Boss 14 contestant Rahul Vaidya appears to have reached a conclusion. Kohli has recently unblocked Vaidya on social media, following a series of controversial remarks made by the singer about the cricketer.
Kohli found himself in the spotlight after accidentally liking a post from a content creator, which led to an apology from him. He clarified that the like was a result of clearing his feed and being influenced by the platform's algorithm.
In response, Vaidya took to social media to mock Kohli, which prompted the cricketer to block him. This action did not sit well with Vaidya, who quipped that even Kohli's algorithm would have suggested blocking him.
Vaidya continued to taunt Kohli's fans online, referring to them as 'jokers.' Eventually, Kohli's brother, Vikas, intervened with a witty retort to halt the trolling.
After several weeks, the tension seems to have dissipated. Vaidya shared on Instagram that Kohli had unblocked him and praised the cricketer, calling him one of India's finest batsmen.
In a further development, Vaidya addressed those who had insulted his family, urging them to show some decency. He also acknowledged Vikas Kohli's comments, expressing that he holds no ill feelings towards him.
He stated:
“Also the immatured people who abused my wife and sister morphed my lil girl's pics and sent so many abuses to me and my loved ones and are continuing to do so. Bhagwan aap sab ko sadbuddi de (May god grant you some goodwill) I can write the same and even worse things to you but I won't because it will only increase negativity which takes us nowhere! Also Vikas Kohli bhai apne mujhe jo bhi kaha I didn't feel bad because I know you are a very good human being and I remember you meeting me outside Manchester or Oval stadium and all the nice things you said to me about my singing. Love and peace to all.”
