Mumbai: The much-anticipated wedding of actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna has finally taken place, putting an end to the rumors surrounding their relationship status.

The couple chose to celebrate their union in a private ceremony, surrounded by close family and friends from the film industry. Their nuptials occurred on Thursday at Mementos by ITC Hotels, Ekaaya Udaipur, where they have previously collaborated on films such as Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.

Following the ceremony, the families of the newlyweds shared sweets with the media gathered outside the venue. On February 22, the couple took to social media to announce their marriage, branding it as “The Wedding of VIROSH.”

They clarified that the name 'Virosh' was not derived from wedding planners or family customs but was a term of endearment created by their fans who had combined their names over the years.

In their heartfelt message on social media, Rashmika and Vijay expressed, “Our Dearest loves, Before we made any plans, before we chose anything for ourselves, you were already there. With so much love, you gave us a name. You called us ‘VIROSH’. So today, with full hearts, we name our coming together in your honour. We would like to name it, ‘The Wedding of VIROSH’. Thank you for holding us with so much love. You are a part of us, always. Biggest hugs and full love (sic).”
