This win marked the second triumph for Meg Lanning's UP Warriorz in five matches, while the Mumbai Indians faced their third consecutive defeat.

Attempting to chase a daunting target of 188 runs, the Mumbai Indians could only manage 165 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs, thanks to a stellar bowling display from the UP Warriorz. The Mumbai side lost their top five batswomen, including Hayley Matthews (13), Sajeevan Sajana (10), Nat Sciver-Brunt (15), and captain Harmanpreet Kaur (18), leaving them in a precarious position at 69-5.
