Udaybir Sandhu has captivated viewers with his role in Dhurandhar 2, portraying Pinda, the loyal friend of Ranveer Singh's character, Jaskirat Singh Rangi (also known as Hamza Ali Mazari). Directed by Aditya Dhar, Udaybir showcases two contrasting appearances throughout the film. In an exclusive interview, he revealed that he was aware of the significant 20-year gap his character experiences, prompting him to undergo a substantial physical transformation to fit the role. He also emphasized the importance of a mental shift to embody his character fully.

In a candid discussion, Udaybir shared insights into his physical changes for Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar The Revenge. He stated, "Many actors often lack the time or commitment for such transformations, but I was dedicated to this project, knowing it would enhance my visibility in the industry. I prioritized my physical transformation as it creates the initial impression."


He further explained that even without dialogue, subtle differences in mannerisms can convey a lot. Reflecting on his character's journey, he described Pinda as a simple, rugged individual from Punjab who evolves significantly over two decades, facing personal losses and taking on the responsibilities of a drug lord.


Udaybir Sandhu: Voice Modulation Techniques

Continuing the conversation, Udaybir acknowledged the mental preparation involved in his role. He elaborated on his use of voice modulation, stating, "We filmed the older version first, and my physical changes contributed greatly to the character. Additionally, I had to adjust my voice accordingly, experimenting with modulation and dialogue delivery."


For the younger version of his character, he maintained a lighter voice, noting, "As people age, their voice typically deepens, which I had to consider for the role." In other news, Dhurandhar 2 has already crossed the impressive milestone of Rs 1500 crore at the global box office.
