Geeta Tandon's Experience on Set

Geeta Tandon, a well-known stunt director and body double in Bollywood, has come forward to share her unsettling experience while working on the television show India Ke Top 1%. She took to social media to express her dissatisfaction, claiming that both she and her son were subjected to unprofessional treatment during their time on set.

Tandon recounted that she arrived at the filming location at 12:30 p.m. after receiving an invitation from the production team. She had cleared her schedule and arranged for her son to return from Goa specifically for this appearance. However, she alleged that they were confined to a tent for the entire day without any updates, despite her persistent inquiries to the production staff.

Claims of Poor Management and Apologies from the Show's Stars

In her account, Tandon described a frustrating encounter with a production manager named Jaydeep, who informed her that she could not leave the set without signing certain documents, even as the hours dragged on. Ultimately, she and her son left the set at 9:15 p.m. Tandon stressed that she was not asking for preferential treatment, but merely for basic professional respect, highlighting that she had volunteered her time without expecting payment.

While Tandon clarified that she did not hold the show's host, Anil Kapoor, or guest Farah Khan accountable for the production team's behavior, she felt it was important to bring the issue to their attention. She concluded her post by asserting that respect should be a fundamental expectation for everyone in the industry, irrespective of their role.

In response to her public complaint, both Kapoor and Khan took to the comments section to express their apologies. Kapoor conveyed his sorrow upon learning about her experience, stating that he had always aimed for a welcoming and respectful environment for all involved in the production. He emphasized that he values such feedback.

Farah Khan also reached out to apologize, explaining that she was unaware of Tandon's presence on set as she was engaged in filming a different segment. She mentioned that had she known, she would have offered Tandon the use of her personal vanity van. Both Kapoor and Khan expressed their admiration for Tandon’s contributions to the film industry.
