Actor Shamir Khaan has officially announced his participation in the forthcoming television series Mera Sindoor. This drama, produced by Saurabh Tewari, stars Ankit Gupta and Anchal Sahu in leading roles. The show is set to debut on Colors TV soon, adding to the channel's diverse programming lineup.

Khaan, who previously garnered attention for his role as Beera in Dhartiputra Nandini, shared details about his new character. He will play Anchal Sahu’s elder brother, portraying a deeply caring and protective figure. Although he refrained from revealing specific plot points, Khaan expressed excitement about the character's dynamics, which he feels resonate with his own life, especially after his sister's recent wedding.
