Mackenyu Discusses Stunt Enhancements in One Piece 2
In a recent conversation, Mackenyu elaborated on the stunts in the new season, emphasizing that they are significantly 'more powerful' and incorporate 'more techniques.' He expressed his excitement about the opportunity to elevate the action sequences, stating, "I'm thrilled that we could make it bigger, better, sharper, and more dangerous. It's incredibly entertaining to watch. A big shoutout to Koji Kamoto, my stunt coordinator."
Jacob, on the other hand, highlighted the unique nature of his character Usopp's stunts compared to those of Zoro and Sanji. He mentioned that his role involved a lot of running and jumping amidst explosive action. "It's always exhilarating to be part of such wild scenes. The explosions and fights just keep getting bigger and louder. We've definitely risen to the challenge of making everything more impressive," he remarked.
For those unfamiliar, One Piece season 2 features Jacob as Usopp, a skilled marksman, while Mackenyu portrays Roronoa Zoro, a swordsman and former bounty hunter. Emily plays Nami, an expert cartographer. The season also includes Charithra Chandran in a notable role.
