Why Was Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 Delayed?


The show was initially slated to begin production by mid-2025. However, in April 2025, the exit of Banijay Asia as the producer caused a delay. Reports indicate that the production company, which had been behind both Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss, ended its contract with the Colors channel. Some contestants had already been confirmed for the show, but the internal changes led to uncertainty regarding its future. A source close to the production team mentioned that both Bigg Boss 19 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 were expected to shift to Sony TV, but they have remained with Colors. While Bigg Boss 19 was produced by Banijay Asia, Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 is back on track. The delay was reportedly due to conflicts between Banijay Asia and Endemol, but by mid-2025, Colors began seeking a new production partner, and the situation has since been resolved.

According to early reports, Farrhana and Karan Wahi are leading the competition as the top two contestants.
