Heartwarming Surprise for Contestant Durgesh Yadav

The much-anticipated Diwali special of the singing competition Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2026 promises to deliver an emotional highlight featuring judge Kumar Sanu and contestant Durgesh Yadav. In a heartfelt gesture, the production team arranged for Durgesh's mentor, Pt. Shri Girijashankar Tripathi, to make a surprise appearance, fulfilling a dream for the aspiring artist.

During their conversation, the judges discovered more about Durgesh's roots in Mau, Uttar Pradesh. His mentor revealed that the family depends on farming for their income and, notably, does not own a television. This unfortunate situation meant that they had been unable to follow Durgesh's journey on the national platform.

A Thoughtful Offer from Kumar Sanu

Upon learning about the family's circumstances, Kumar Sanu promptly offered to provide a television for them. He expressed his wish for Durgesh's parents to witness their son's performances live on the show. Sanu assured that a television would be sent to their home without delay, allowing them to enjoy his future appearances.

The Diwali special, hosted by Shreyas Talpade, will showcase a range of musical acts and festive segments. The show airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 PM on Zee TV and is also available for streaming on ZEE5. This episode emphasizes the personal narratives and supportive bonds that shape the contestants' journeys on the show.
