In an exclusive chat with Telly Talk India/Times Now, Eisha Singh shared her thoughts on these comparisons.

In response to online reactions, Eisha revealed that she only became aware of Extraordinary Attorney Woo after fans began tagging her in comments. She explained, "When people started tagging and commenting, I checked it out and realized it was another show. Until then, my research was limited to Indian references."

The actress emphasized that her preparation for Juhi Mui was rooted in Indian culture and the people she interacted with during her research. She admitted that she was unaware of similar international shows during the initial stages of the project. Eisha later watched parts of Extraordinary Attorney Woo after the audience began making comparisons.

Inspiration vs. Imitation

Eisha stated, "When creating a show, inspiration can come from various sources. Since both stories involve legal themes, there might be some similarities." However, she firmly rejected claims that Juhi Mui is simply a remake of the Korean series, asserting that the storylines, characters, and thematic representations are significantly different.

Addressing the inevitable comparisons, Eisha acknowledged that viewers might see connections due to both series tackling autism within a legal framework. Nonetheless, she insisted that Juhi Mui has its own unique identity. She remarked, "Our show is very different. Of course, since both deal with autism and have a legal background, comparisons are understandable."

She concluded by reiterating that Juhi Mui is designed for Indian audiences and incorporates many elements that set it apart from the Korean drama. In her words, "Our show is very Indianized, and viewers will see many things that are not present in that show."
