Ed Kelce, the father of NFL star Travis Kelce, has shared intimate details about his son's romantic proposal to pop sensation Taylor Swift. According to Ed, the proposal took place nearly two weeks ago, confirming earlier reports regarding the engagement date.

Initially, Ed mentioned that the proposal occurred in a garden in Lee's Summit, Missouri. However, it was later revealed that the actual location was Travis's backyard in Leawood, Kansas. Ed received the exciting news shortly after the proposal when Travis and Taylor called him during an Eagles practice session.

Ed recounted, 'He got her out there, they were about to go out to dinner, and he said, ‘Let’s go out and have a glass of wine.’ That’s when he asked her, and it was beautiful.'

Travis had considered postponing the proposal for a grander occasion, but Ed advised him that the moment's significance could be felt anywhere, as long as it was heartfelt.
