Mumbai, Oct 26: The trailer for the upcoming crime drama 'Pratap', featuring Amit Sadh and Esha Deol, was unveiled on Monday.
Amit Sadh portrays Pratap, a police officer who, after dedicating his life to enforcing the law, finds himself on the other side of it. The trailer hints at the intriguing circumstances that lead to a police officer's incarceration, blending elements of his past and present.
The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Esha Deol, Seema Biswas, Tigmanshu Dhulia, and Milind Gunaji, among others.
Discussing his role, Amit Sadh expressed, “'Pratap' is not your typical cop narrative. What drew me in was the character's journey from law enforcer to lawbreaker. This role is filled with emotional depth and contradictions, making it a fascinating portrayal. The trailer offers a glimpse into his world, but there’s much more to uncover.”
Esha Deol shared her thoughts, stating, “What I appreciate about 'Pratap' is its complexity. The narrative has multiple layers, and as it progresses, the audience will perceive the characters and their situations in new ways. Collaborating with Amit and Sachin has been a delightful experience, and I can’t wait for viewers to see what the film reveals.”
Writer and director Sachin Saraf commented, “With 'Pratap', I aimed to narrate a story about a man whose life takes an unexpected turn. It explores themes of choices, consequences, and the thin line between right and wrong. We have endeavored to keep the storytelling authentic while incorporating the necessary action and emotional depth. The trailer is just the beginning of the film's journey.”
'Pratap', written and directed by Sachin Saraf, is produced by Pradeep Rangwani and presented by UV Films. The film is set to hit theaters on November 20, 2026.
