Mumbai, Aug 17: The entertainment world is in shock following the untimely death of American actress Hayden Panettiere, who was just 36 years old. Known for her roles in hit TV series like 'Nashville' and 'Heroes', her passing has prompted a heartfelt tribute from the Cine & TV Artistes’ Association.
CINTAA shared a touching message on their Instagram, stating, "CINTAA mourns the passing of Hayden Panettiere. Our heartfelt condolences go out to her family, friends, colleagues, and admirers during this difficult time. May her soul rest in peace. — CINTAA (sic)".
Hayden's family confirmed the tragic news, with her father, Alan “Skip” Panettiere, describing her as “an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen.” They have requested privacy as they navigate this painful period.
While the cause of her death remains undisclosed, an investigation is currently underway.
Hayden began her career as a child, appearing in various commercials and soap operas. She gained recognition in 1998 for voicing Dot, the young princess ant, in Pixar’s animated classic 'A Bug’s Life'.
Her breakout role came in 2006 when she played Claire Bennet, a high school cheerleader with superhuman abilities, in NBC’s 'Heroes'.
Additionally, she is cherished for her portrayal of Juliette Barnes, an aspiring country music star, in ABC’s musical drama 'Nashville', where 11 of her songs charted on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs.
Her final appearance was in the psychological thriller 'Sleepwalker'.
