At a special screening held at Sandhya Theatre, a large crowd gathered to see the actor, which resulted in a stampede-like situation. This chaos led to the unfortunate death of Revathi and left her son, Sri Teja, injured. Months later, Allu Arjun has been summoned by the Nampally Court in Hyderabad and is required to appear in person on June 22 for a hearing regarding the incident. What Happened to Sri Teja

Details of the Incident: Sri Teja, a young fan, attended the screening at Sandhya Theatre (RTC Cross Roads) with his parents, Revathi and Bhaskar, along with his younger sister. The arrival of Allu Arjun caused a sudden influx of people, resulting in a stampede. In the ensuing chaos, the family near the entrance was knocked down. While Bhaskar and his daughter sustained minor injuries, Revathi tragically lost her life, and Sri Teja suffered critical head injuries.

Current Condition of Sri Teja

Sri Teja spent approximately six months in critical care before being declared out of immediate danger. Currently, he is semi-conscious and bedridden, having suffered around 70 percent brain damage, which affects his ability to recognize people or express his needs. He depends on a feeding tube (gastrostomy) and a breathing tube (tracheostomy), requiring constant medical attention and rehabilitation.

His home has transformed into a medical care unit, and his father, Bhaskar, has left his job to provide full-time care, leading to significant financial difficulties due to the ongoing treatment and rehabilitation expenses. In December 2025, Bhaskar approached the chairman of the Telangana State Film and Theatre Development Corporation, Dil Raju, seeking additional financial support from the state government.

Allu Aravind has also pledged to cover the educational expenses for Sri Teja's sister. Furthermore, Allu Arjun is personally taking care of all costs associated with Sri Teja’s rehabilitation at a specialized facility.
