On March 29, at approximately 5:30 PM, Rahul Arunoday Banerjee lost his life during a shoot at Talsari beach, which lies near the Odisha-West Bengal border. He was reportedly filming a scene with co-star Sweta Mishra in shallow water when both actors fell into a ditch. Crew members quickly transported them to a hospital in Digha, but unfortunately, doctors pronounced Rahul dead upon arrival. Local authorities revealed that the production team had neither notified them nor secured the necessary permissions for the shoot at that location. An investigation is currently underway. His funeral took place on March 31, 2026, in Kolkata.
