A Disturbing Incident in Bengaluru

A distressing event has unfolded in Bengaluru, sending shockwaves through the Kannada film community. A businessman was discovered deceased at the home of actress and model Akshara Haasan, prompting an immediate police investigation. Akshara, who gained fame with her debut film "Akira" in 2016, has made a notable impact in both film and television.

Reports from law enforcement indicate that the incident took place around 8:30 PM last night while Akshara was in Yelahanka. The victim, identified as Vaishakh, had reportedly been residing at the actress's home for the past week. Authorities confirmed that no suicide note was found at the scene. Following the discovery, the body was sent to Victoria Hospital for an autopsy as investigators began to unravel the events leading to this tragedy. It has come to light that Vaishakh was receiving treatment for depression and was facing personal and familial challenges, having been living apart from his wife for nearly a month due to ongoing disputes.

This case has also reignited interest in Vaishakh's previous legal issues. He had been under police investigation for a notable extortion case involving businessman and lawyer Arvind Reddy. A threatening letter demanding 6 to 7 crores, along with an apology, was allegedly sent to Reddy. During the investigation, the H.L. police arrested Vaishakh, claiming he was involved in sending the letter related to a dispute with a woman. He was later released by the Karnataka High Court, which called for further inquiry on February 6. Vaishakh had previously been detained and interrogated for five days by H.L. police.

Currently, the family of the deceased is expected to lodge a complaint regarding his death. The Rajarajeshwari Nagar police are anticipated to file a case and complete the necessary legal procedures before returning the body to the family following the autopsy. As authorities await the post-mortem findings and statements from relatives, investigators are exploring all possible angles of the case, with additional information likely to surface in the coming days as they work to clarify the full timeline of this unfortunate incident.
