Tina Ahuja Shares Experience of Cooking Reality Show with Mother Sunita Ahuja

Tina Ahuja, the daughter of Govinda, recently teamed up with her mother, Sunita Ahuja, for a special appearance on Shilpa Shetty's cooking reality show, Maa Hai Na. Following the show's debut on ZEE5, Zoom conducted an exclusive interview with Tina, where she discussed her motivations for joining the series. She candidly expressed that collaborating with her mother was a challenging experience. Additionally, Tina praised Shilpa Shetty, describing her as a 'kind-hearted and sweet person'.

Challenges of Cooking with Mom

When questioned about the difficulties of participating in the cooking show alongside her mother, Tina remarked, "It wasn't easy to do it with mom. Aisa kuch bhi nahi tha. I think the most difficult thing was that I don't even know 'c' of cooking. And for a person like me, who's working a lot behind the camera, to get into the whole thing in front was also a big shocker." Despite the challenges, she ultimately enjoyed the experience. Initially, she was more surprised than excited when offered the role in Maa Hai Na. "Because I had never expected to do this with my mom. It is only because of my mother and Neeti-Preeti (Simoes) that I have done this show," she explained.

Tina Ahuja Praises Shilpa Shetty

In her reflections on Shilpa Shetty's role as host, Tina shared that she never judged the actress. "I have worked with Shilpa ji behind the camera, and also with Dad (Govinda) when she's done projects with him. I know she is a very kind-hearted and sweet person. You can't take away the fact that ek insaan ka nature hi itna kind aur sweet hai. Toh aisa nahi tha ki I was judging her. She was just the way she is. She's a very sweet and kind soul. I think even she was having fun because sab itna ganda khana bana rahe the (laughs). Unke liye bhi ek fun zone tha," Tina concluded. On the professional front, Tina made her Bollywood debut in 2015 with Second Hand Husband.
