Bomb Threats Linked to Upcoming Concert

In Indore, three private educational institutions and the Mayor's office have been targeted with bomb threat emails ahead of Punjabi artist Diljit Dosanjh's concert scheduled for November 15, according to a police spokesperson on Monday.

Initial investigations indicate that these threats are likely hoaxes, the officer stated.

The emails, composed in Punjabi, warned the schools' management about potential bomb blasts and advised against allowing students to attend the concert, as reported by Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotiya.

Authorities conducted thorough searches at the three schools with bomb disposal teams, but no explosives were discovered.

A similar threat was also directed at Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava's office, which is currently under investigation, Dandotiya confirmed.

At first glance, the emails seem to be false alarms, but the crime branch is working on technical evidence to trace the senders.

Legal actions will be initiated following the investigation, the police officer noted.

Dandotiya also mentioned that the concert organizers have not yet sought police permission for the event on November 15.
