Exploring the Unique Relationship

Heroine: The bond between siblings is often regarded as one of the purest relationships in the world. In our society, once someone is considered a sister, that bond is cherished for life. Historical examples, such as the relationship between Rani Karnavati and Humayun, illustrate this sentiment. In this context, let's delve into the story of a heroine who married her brother after becoming pregnant.

Who is This Heroine?

It is well-known that Boney Kapoor was so enamored with Sridevi's beauty and charm that he risked his stable family life for her. Eventually, he married Sridevi, who had once tied a rakhi on his wrist. This revelation about Boney's betrayal came from his first wife, Mona Kapoor, during an interview.

Mona shared that she and Sridevi were close friends, with Sridevi frequently visiting their home. During that time, Sridevi lived with Mona and Boney, and rumors linked her romantically with Mithun Chakraborty.

From Rakhi to Marriage

During that period, Mithun began to suspect the growing closeness between Sridevi and Boney Kapoor. To reassure Mithun, Sridevi tied a rakhi on Boney, declaring him her brother. This act only intensified their relationship, leading to their marriage in 1996 after a lengthy courtship.

Becoming a Mother Without Marriage

Boney Kapoor shared several significant anecdotes about his life with Rohan Dua, including lesser-known stories. He revealed that their wedding took place in Shirdi on June 2. He mentioned, "We spent a night there after the wedding. By January, Sridevi's pregnancy was evident, prompting us to have a second wedding ceremony. We had no other option."

Although their marriage was officially on June 2, 1996, the public perception was that they married in January 1997. This led some to speculate that Janhvi was conceived before their marriage, as Sridevi was pregnant at that time. Shortly after their wedding, Sridevi gave birth to their first daughter, Janhvi Kapoor, followed by their second daughter, Khushi Kapoor.
