According to Variety, Streep, Hathaway, and Blunt each received $12.5 million as part of a 'favoured nations' agreement regarding their salaries. The original film was produced on a budget of $35 million and grossed $326 million worldwide, while the sequel's budget was significantly higher at $100 million, primarily due to the cast's salaries.
