Shaam's Support for Thalapathy Vijay
Shaam Predicts Vijay's Success
Shaam has openly shown his support for Thalapathy Vijay. Reflecting on the actor's success, he mentioned that he had foreseen this victory two years prior. "Honestly, I envisioned this back in 2024. One morning, I called him and said, 'anna, I see you in the chief minister's chair, being honored by the people.' Recently, on May 3, I texted him, affirming that my dream was about to materialize. My belief in this outcome has been steadfast," he shared.
In his role as Ajay Rajendran, Vijay's brother in Varisu, Shaam reminisced about a conversation where he asked Vijay if he anticipated his rise in the film industry. "Vijay anna possesses immense conviction, and his heart is genuine. He attributes his success to his fans and expressed a desire to give back. When I asked if he knew he would achieve such fame, he replied, 'I came to act; I never expected to receive so much love,'" Shaam recounted.
When questioned about whether Vijay discussed his political aspirations with him, Shaam admitted that he did not, but he firmly believes that a divine force is guiding Vijay's journey. "There is a divine influence steering him. I have witnessed it firsthand. This force is so powerful that I am confident the political throne will always be his. Few would relinquish their careers for such a path," he stated. When asked if he plans to enter politics, he chuckled, saying, "No... I don't envision myself in that realm."
Currently, Shaam is engaged in the production of Srinivasa Mangapuram, a Telugu romantic action drama set to release in 2026, directed by Ajay Bhupathi, known for RX 100. This film marks the debut of Jaya Krishna Ghattamaneni, nephew of Mahesh Babu, and Rasha Thadani, daughter of Raveena Tandon. Additionally, he is involved in a Kannada film titled Ruby.
