Tanishaa Mukerji Discusses Her 'Distressing' Time on Bigg Boss
In a chat with Mamaraazzi, Tanishaa revealed that a significant portion of her dialogue was cut from the show because she primarily spoke in English. She chose to avoid certain discussions to steer clear of conflicts that could reflect poorly on her family. The actress later discovered that some contestants had used her connections to Kajol and Ajay Devgn to gain more screen time, which she viewed as a sign of her naivety. Tanishaa expressed that this experience made her more cautious, as she felt her family was unfairly targeted during her time on the show. She stated, "That experience certainly made me much more cautious because people really did target my family. Even the channel disappointed me at times." When asked if her time on BB was distressing, she confirmed, "Definitely." She also noted that friendships formed in the house often stem from shared trauma, revealing that the true nature of those bonds becomes apparent only after overcoming the associated challenges.
Family's Absence from Bigg Boss
Tanishaa also expressed her frustration regarding inquiries about her family's absence from the show. She emphasized that her family members are prominent celebrities who would have participated if they had been compensated. "Why should they appear for free? This is still a television program. Everyone is being paid," she remarked.
