This milestone was reached during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on May 3 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Notably, Narine has spent his entire IPL career with KKR. Following this accomplishment, KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan took to social media to express his joy and admiration for the cricketer.

Narine is now the third player in IPL history to reach the 200-wicket milestone, following Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Yuzvendra Chahal, the latter of whom holds the record for the most wickets in the tournament.
