As reported, Suhana has commenced filming for 'King.' A source mentioned, "Though initially Abhay was to join around June–July, some scheduling changes have happened."

Rumors suggest that Abhishek Bachchan may portray the antagonist in 'King,' which is said to draw inspiration from the 2000 film 'Bichhoo' and the French classic 'Leon: The Professional.' Details about Shah Rukh Khan's character and the film's storyline remain under wraps. Notable actors like Anil Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi, and Jackie Shroff are also expected to play significant roles. The film is anticipated to release in 2026.

Initially, Sujoy Ghosh was slated to direct 'King,' but he has since been replaced by Siddharth Anand, known for his collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan in 'Pathaan.'
