About Suga's 12K Marathon

Suga participated in the Bay to Breakers race under his real name, Min Yoongi, waking up at 6 a.m. to join the annual marathon before BTS’ concert. Official race records indicate that the 33-year-old completed the 7.45-mile course in 1:04:43, achieving an impressive pace of 8:41 minutes per mile. Despite finishing the race on time and making it back for the ARIRANG World Tour stop, fans noticed he performed with a slight limp during the concert, likely due to muscle cramps and fatigue. BTS leader RM later shared in a livestream that Suga is an enthusiastic runner who often participates in 10K races. V (Kim Taehyung) also mentioned that Suga had been training hard to lose weight ahead of the tour, while Jimin revealed that Suga woke up early specifically for the marathon, expressing concern after noticing his swollen calves before the encore stage.
