Following his previous work, Chhaava, which focused on Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Utekar is now preparing to unveil the tale of Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar in his upcoming film Eetha. The film stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role, alongside Randeep Hooda. Vithabai was immersed in various musical forms, including Lavanya and Gavlan. Known as the ‘Tamasha Samradini’ (Tamasha Empress), she continued her family's legacy during challenging times. She received prestigious accolades, including the President’s Award in 1957 and 1990, yet faced financial difficulties, with her hospital expenses after her passing covered by generous donors.
