Excitement Surrounds the Release of Masters of the Universe


Travis Knight's highly anticipated film, Masters of the Universe, featuring Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man, is set to hit theaters on June 5. The movie will be available in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam in India. Notably, the Telugu version will showcase Karthikeya star Nikhil Siddhartha lending his voice to He-Man.


In an exclusive conversation with Zoom, Nikhil expressed his enthusiasm for the role, citing the involvement of major brands like Sony Pictures and Amazon MGM Studios as a significant factor in his decision. He also shared a personal connection to the character, reminiscing about his childhood memories of He-Man. "I grew up in the eighties and nineties, and I had all the He-Man toys, including Battle Cat and various vehicles," he recalled.



Nikhil further elaborated, saying, "The nostalgia of being a He-Man fan was a huge motivator for me to join this project, which has been produced on a grand scale." He assured fans that they would not be disappointed with the film, highlighting the impressive visual effects that rival top-tier productions. "It's going to be a visually stunning experience," he added.


As a devoted He-Man enthusiast, Nikhil shared his excitement about the film's storyline, which explores Prince Adam's transformation into He-Man. "This movie delves into how he becomes He-Man, a story that many fans may not be familiar with," he noted.



Nikhil described Prince Adam as an ordinary guy living on Earth, emphasizing the film's focus on his journey to becoming He-Man. He expressed hope that this film would resonate with He-Man fans and introduce the character's origins to a new audience.


Alongside Nicholas Galitzine, the film boasts a star-studded cast, including Camila Mendes, Jared Leto, Alison Brie, James Purefoy, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson, Kristen Wiig, Morena Baccarin, and Idris Elba. The plot follows Prince Adam's return to Eternia, where he must accept his destiny as He-Man and confront the evil Skeletor to protect his home.
