Kushi postponed from December
Incredibly, Kushi was slated to release in December 2022 but was postponed due to non-completion of the shoot. After Kushi's first schedule wrapped up in Kashmir in May last year, the shoot came to a halt as Samantha revealed that she was suffering from a rare auto-immune disease, myositis. The actress took a break from work for treatment. However, last month, the actress resumed shooting and gave her a grand welcome on the sets.

About Kushi
Kushi is the second collaboration of Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda after Mahanty in 2018. The duo has managed to capture the attention of the audience with their cute chemistry from the poster, title song and BTS pictures. The title poster and the song released last year received a great response from the audience.

Touted to be a romantic drama and directed by Shiv Nirvana, Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha's film revolves around an unconventional love story. Jairam, Sachin Khedakar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vanela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar and Saranya are part of the film in important roles.
