Mumbai, Sep 15: Actor Sooraj Pancholi has publicly responded after his name emerged in the ongoing investigation into the death of the late celebrity manager Disha Salian.

In a post on his social media, Sooraj expressed the need to clarify certain facts, stating, "I feel it is important to put certain facts clearly in the public domain." He addressed the controversy surrounding Disha Salian's tragic passing, which has involved various media narratives.

He emphasized, "I want to make it clear that I have never met Disha Salian, either directly or indirectly. I have also never met Aditya Thackeray. It is incredibly unfair and distressing to see my name associated with something I have no connection to, especially without any evidence linking me to this situation."

Sooraj continued, "I have remained silent for a long time because I did not want to respond to every report or story about me. However, when the same accusations keep resurfacing, one must eventually speak out. I have already been questioned by the CBI and police, and my statement was recorded nearly 4-5 years ago."

He asserted, "I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE! If any investigative body wishes to question me again or needs further information, I am fully prepared to cooperate and make myself available for any inquiry. I only ask that the facts be verified before my name is involved in such matters. I fully support a comprehensive CBI investigation into the circumstances surrounding Disha Salian's tragic death."

Furthermore, he stated, "I also believe there should be an investigation into the harmful propaganda and false narratives surrounding this incident, as someone's death should not be used to tarnish another person's reputation without proof. To everyone reading this, please do not believe everything you see in the news or on social media!"

He firmly concluded, "A headline is not evidence. A debate is not evidence. Just because someone says something on television does not make it true. Please verify information before forming opinions about someone's life and character. Behind every name discussed on television is a real person with a real family and a real life."

Sooraj reiterated, "I have kept quiet for too long, but I will not let my name be continuously associated with something I have no connection to. I trust in the law, the investigative agencies, and I believe that the truth will ultimately prevail."

He wrapped up his statement with, "Let the facts speak. Let the investigation speak. Let the truth speak. Jai Hind."
