Sonu Nigam Offers Insight into His Health Condition
In an interview with Bombay Times, Sonu Nigam explained, "I suspect that a misstep during my workout or staying in one position for too long may have contributed to this issue. Even a slight tilt of my head would cause considerable pain." He mentioned that while doctors prescribed pain relief medication, he realized he couldn't rely solely on it.
During a recent trip to Delhi for an awards ceremony, he recognized that he was unable to perform. Fortunately, director Pankaj Parashar assisted him by referring him to a skilled physician. This led Sonu to begin a rigorous physical rehabilitation program, where he worked with the doctor for two and a half hours daily, which significantly helped him regain his strength. Now, he is eager to return to Mumbai and continue his work.
Sonu also reflected on how years of experience helped him manage this situation. Although he felt anxious about performing, fearing it might affect his vocal performance, he ultimately realized that his voice was in good shape.

In closing, Sonu emphasized the nature of his profession, stating that he cannot delegate his performances to anyone else, even when unwell.
