On Friday, thousands of travelers, including many Indians, found themselves stranded at Abu Dhabi International Airport due to escalating tensions in the Middle East. Iran has reportedly launched strikes targeting US military installations following a joint operation by Israel and the United States aimed at addressing what they consider a significant threat from Tehran. This situation led to the closure of airspace, disrupting operations at one of the busiest transit hubs in the region. Viral footage has surfaced showing missile strikes near Dubai's famous Palm Jumeirah. Actress Sonal Chauhan, who is currently in Dubai, has reached out for assistance from Prime Minister Narendra Modi.


Sonal Chauhan Seeks Help Amid Crisis

On Saturday night, the actress known for her role in Jannat took to Instagram to express her predicament, stating, "Hon'ble PM @Narendramodi ji, I'm currently stranded in Dubai amid the ongoing crises. Flights have been cancelled and no clear way to return to India. I'm seeking the government's guidance and support to help me get back home safely. I would be deeply grateful for any assistance from the Government and guidance for a safe return."


In addition, double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu also experienced unexpected travel disruptions on Saturday. She was left stranded at Dubai Airport as flight services were halted amid the rising tensions. The situation escalated quickly, with alarms sounding throughout the airport, causing panic among passengers. National Guard personnel arrived promptly, taking control of the situation and advising those still inside to remain in the terminal for their safety. Following a series of explosions, all flights were suspended, and after two tense hours, officials announced the cancellation of all departures, leaving countless international travelers in limbo.
