Sonakshi Sinha's New Track for 'Nikita Roy'
Mumbai, June 18: Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha is preparing for the premiere of her film 'Nikita Roy' and has just released a new song titled 'Kaali Raatein'. This captivating track aligns perfectly with the eerie theme of the upcoming supernatural thriller.
In a recent Instagram post in collaboration with the label Saregama, Sonakshi shared the music video, which provides a sneak peek into the ominous atmosphere of 'Nikita Roy'.
The post was captioned: “Not all dark nights are silent; some haunt you with a tune! #KaaliRaatein is out now.”
The song, featuring Sonakshi, delves into the chilling universe of 'Nikita Roy'. With its dark, moody ambiance, 'Kaali Raatein' showcases haunting vocals paired with stunningly unsettling visuals.
In May, the film's producers announced that it would hit theaters on June 27, directed by Sonakshi's brother, Kussh Sinha.
Sonakshi announced the new release date on her Instagram, stating, "Mark your calendars! Our edge-of-the-seat thriller ‘Nikita Roy’ now has a new release date! Catch the suspense unfold on the big screen on 27th June 2025!"
Originally, 'Nikita Roy' was set to premiere on May 30, but the reasons for the postponement have not been disclosed.
The film is produced by Nicky Bhagnani, Vicky Bhagnani, and Ankur Takrani under the Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Film banner, in collaboration with Kratos Entertainment and Nikita Pai Films. The highly anticipated drama also features Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal, and Suhail Nayyar in key roles.
Co-producers include Anand Mehta, Prakash Nand Bijlani, Shakti Bhatnagar, Mehnaaz Shaikh, and Prem Raj Joshi.
Sonakshi wrapped up a 35-day filming schedule for the movie in London this past March.
In addition, Sonakshi is gearing up for her debut in Tollywood with the project 'Jatadhara'.
This supernatural fantasy thriller is directed by Venkat Kalyan and stars Sudheer Babu, along with Shilpa Shirodkar, Rain Anjali, and Divya Vij in significant roles.
