Shoaib Ibrahim's Family Faces New Health Crisis: A Call for Prayers
Shoaib Ibrahim's Father's Health Deteriorates
Television star Shoaib Ibrahim has shared troubling news about his father's health, revealing that he has been readmitted to intensive care after suffering a stroke on May 23. In an emotional Instagram post, Shoaib requested his followers to pray for his father's recovery, highlighting that the next 24 hours are critical according to the medical team. He explained that his father experienced the stroke early in the morning and was quickly hospitalized, stating, "I need all your prayers for papa. He had another stroke this morning and is now in the ICU. Please keep him in your thoughts. The next 24 hours are vital."
This health scare adds to the ongoing struggles faced by the Ibrahim family, who have been dealing with serious medical challenges. Shoaib's wife, actress Dipika Kakar, recently completed treatment for stage 2 liver cancer. Following a successful tumor removal surgery in June 2025, she announced to her fans that she has been declared tumor-free. Before this significant surgery, Dipika also had a cyst removed as part of her extensive treatment plan.
Previously, Shoaib had revealed that his father suffered a severe brain stroke in 2021, which required the family to take on the responsibility of his daily care at home. During that period, Shoaib, Dipika, and their caretaker provided support, as the stroke had left his father's left side partially paralyzed. The first 72 hours after the stroke were described as critical, and Shoaib kept his followers informed about his father's health through vlogs and social media updates.
As they confront this new health challenge, the family remains hopeful. Shoaib has consistently stressed the importance of fostering a positive environment at home, even amidst the uncertainty surrounding his father's current condition. They find themselves in yet another tense waiting period, relying on the medical team's expertise to assess his father's response to treatment.
In addition to these health issues, Shoaib has shared insights into the lifestyle changes that Dipika has embraced following her cancer treatment. In a recent vlog, he mentioned that she now rises at 7 am, participates in morning walks, and follows a strict diet, avoiding food after 7 pm to aid her recovery. Despite these dietary changes, Dipika remains enthusiastic about cooking and plans to continue sharing recipes on her YouTube channel. The couple, who married in 2018 and welcomed a son in 2023, is dedicated to caring for Shoaib's father while also prioritizing Dipika's long-term health and maintaining a connection with their supportive fanbase.
