On X, Kapur shared that he has partnered with Amazon MGM Studios in the United States to adapt, direct, and produce this significant series based on Brashares' acclaimed work. He described the project as an exciting, mysterious, and ultimately heartwarming journey that traverses through wars, conflicts, and empires, even reaching into the future. The narrative emphasizes the timeless notion that ‘Love is Forever’.
