In light of this special day, renowned singer Shaan engaged in a heartfelt discussion with his son Maahi, sharing insights about their relationship, music, and more. The singer, known for his hit 'Chand Sifarish,' became emotional while reflecting on the challenges faced by his late father, Manas Mukherjee. He expressed that he feels he has not achieved even a fraction of what his father accomplished. Additionally, Shaan expressed immense pride in his sons, Maahi and Soham, and hopes that they can defy the stereotype of a famous singer having a more successful child.

During the candid chat, Shaan pointed out that children of celebrities often enjoy certain advantages. However, he emphasized that not all of them are able to replicate their parents' success. He stated, “We must acknowledge that these children benefit from their parents' fame. Some have more privileges than others, but many fail to grasp the essence of hard work. They often equate their identity with being the child of a celebrity, mistakenly believing that this alone is an accomplishment.”
He shared an example involving his younger son, Soham, who approaches tasks with the mindset of a struggler. When asked why, Soham explained that without effort, he wouldn't truly understand the value of hard work and success.

Shaan also took a moment to honor his father, Manas Mukherjee, a celebrated singer from the golden age of Indian cinema. He lamented that his father did not witness his success. Shaan shared, “I always wished to see my father proud of my achievements. He was a strong individual who faced numerous challenges. Despite his immense talent, he did not experience the success he deserved, which pains me deeply. I wish he could have seen my accomplishments. I am not even close to being 2 percent of what he was. I wish he could have lived a bit longer to witness it. My mother, however, did see my success.”
As for Shaan, he has lent his voice to numerous Bollywood stars, including Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Hrithik Roshan, among others.
