Following her tributes to Michelle Trachtenberg, who portrayed her sister Dawn, and Nicholas Brendon, who played Xander, Gellar now faces the passing of Anthony Head. Head, who died on June 5, succumbed to pneumonia complications, just six months after the death of his partner. His daughters, Emily and Daisy, shared the news with the BBC, prompting heartfelt tributes from Gellar and her fellow cast members, as well as actors from Ted Lasso.

Gellar Reflects on Head's Impact

In a touching Instagram tribute, Gellar quoted a line from Buffy: "Tell Giles I figured it out and I’m ok." She expressed that, unlike her character, she was still struggling and not okay, but felt fortunate to have known Head. Gellar thanked Daisy and Emily for sharing their father with her and the world.
