Sana Sultan Ties the Knot with Mohammad Wazid

Following her exit from the Bigg Boss OTT 3 house in 2024, Sana Sultan delighted her followers by revealing her marriage to Mohammad Wazid, which took place in Madinah on November 4, 2024. On her Instagram, she expressed that it had been an extraordinary journey and that she felt fortunate to be married to the best partner. In a recent interview, Sana disclosed that she had recognized Wazid as a positive influence even before entering the Bigg Boss house, and upon her return, she was clear about her intentions.

Sana Sultan Discusses Her Marriage

In a conversation with Telly Talk India, Sana shared that her husband, Wazid, was instrumental in encouraging her to participate in Bigg Boss. He had predicted that one of her catchphrases would surely become popular on the show and even persuaded her parents to support her decision. She remarked, "At that time, we were still getting to know each other, and there was no insecurity. That was a green flag for me, showing how supportive he is."

Sana believes that her marriage has contributed to her success. She reflected, "It was completely unexpected. I had planned to wait two to three years before marrying. However, sometimes you realize how much you miss someone. Just like salt is essential for food, Wazid's absence made me realize how important he is in my life, especially during my 40 days in Bigg Boss without my phone."

How Sana Proposed to Wazid

She continued, "Upon leaving the show, I asked him, 'Wazid ji, shall we get married?' He was surprised and asked if I was certain. Friends advised me to wait, saying I was just beginning to gain fame and had much work ahead. I told them that my success wouldn't be defined by my relationship status. I want to be an example that shows I can thrive even after marriage."

The reality TV star, who has transitioned into entrepreneurship, also emphasized that the notion of marriage hindering women's careers is a myth. She cited successful actresses like Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt, who have thrived post-marriage and even after becoming mothers.
