For those unfamiliar, Maa Inti Bangaaram is a family action comedy drama directed by Nandini Reddy, who collaborates with Samantha after their successful project, Oh! Baby.
The film features Diganth and Gulshan Devaiah in significant roles, along with a supporting cast that includes Sree Mukhi, Gautami, Anand, Lakshmi, Srinivas Gavireddy, and Manjusha. Produced by Tralala Moving Pictures, the film is set to release on May 15 this year.
Samantha previously mentioned that the narrative of her upcoming film is deeply rooted in family values while maintaining a quirky and edgy energy.
She described Maa Inti Bangaaram as a story highlighting a woman's strength derived from both her vulnerability and courage.
Samantha expressed that portraying this character and producing the film has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
Interestingly, sources indicate that Samantha has performed most of the action scenes in the film while wearing a saree, a visually striking and physically demanding choice.
A source close to the production revealed, "After The Family Man and Citadel, Samantha aimed to push her limits further. In Maa Inti Bangaram, she’s executing most of the action herself, and doing it in a saree. It’s a challenging yet powerful portrayal that audiences rarely witness."
