Recently, during the trial, Khan’s personal bodyguard, who was present during the shooting, testified that the incident was a deliberate attempt on the actor's life. The trial commenced last month, with the bodyguard being the first to take the stand.

Reports indicate that Mohammed Rafiq Sardar Chaudhari had visited the area two days before the shooting, recording a video and sending it to Anmol Bishnoi, a key suspect in the case. Gupta, Pal, and other suspects are currently in judicial custody, while one accused, Anujkumar Thapan, tragically took his own life while in police custody.
