He noted that around 4 AM on April 14, the security team heard sounds that resembled firecrackers. The bodyguard confirmed that the assailants fired four to five shots. He and his colleagues quickly responded to the situation and alerted the police.

The bodyguard identified key details from the CCTV footage shown in court, presented by the prosecution led by special public prosecutor Mahesh Mule. He stated that Salman was at home in his bedroom during the shooting and described the incident as a clear attempt to take the actor's life. During cross-examination, he mentioned that he was in his security cabin when the shots were fired and was unaware of any threats against Salman.

Security Measures Following Threats
Prior to this incident, Salman Khan had been receiving multiple threats from the Bishnoi gang, prompting an increase in his security measures. The attack in April 2024 led the Mumbai police to enhance his protection. The individuals involved in the shooting, Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were apprehended. Reports indicate that Mohammed Rafiq Sardar Chaudhari had visited the area two days before the shooting, recording a video and sending it to Anmol Bishnoi, a key suspect in the case. Gupta, Pal, and other suspects are currently in judicial custody, while one accused, Anujkumar Thapan, tragically took his own life while in police custody.
