Salman will portray the real-life hero Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu from the 16 Bihar Regiment. Although the film was initially slated for release this year, it has encountered delays. Recent reports suggest that the film's release might be postponed to 2027. The production team has clarified that any rumors regarding certification issues with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) are unfounded, stating that the film has not yet been submitted for certification.
