Salman Khan's Commitment to Battle of Galwan

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is fully dedicating himself to his upcoming war film, Battle of Galwan, which he describes as one of the most physically challenging projects of his career. This highly anticipated movie is inspired by the 2020 conflict in Galwan Valley between India and China and is directed by Apoorva Lakhia, known for his work on Shootout at Lokhandwala.

Khan expressed, "This film is incredibly demanding. Each passing year, month, and day makes it increasingly tough. I need to invest more time in training now. In the past, I could manage my training in just a week or two, but now I’m engaged in running, kicking, and punching, which are essential for this role."

He further elaborated, "For example, the action in Sikandar was different, and the character varied. However, this project is physically taxing. Additionally, filming in Ladakh at high altitudes and in cold water presents its own set of challenges."

The actor shared his enthusiasm for the film, which he announced earlier this month, stating, "When I agreed to do this film, I found it fascinating, but I knew it would be a very challenging endeavor. I have 20 days of shooting planned in Ladakh, followed by seven to eight days in cold water. We are set to begin filming this month."

Media reports indicate that Battle of Galwan may not follow the traditional Eid release associated with Khan's films, but could instead premiere in January or June of the following year. When questioned about the release date, Khan confirmed, "Yes, January." He also mentioned that a sequel to his 2015 hit Bajrangi Bhaijaan is in development, stating, "I enjoyed the first film. The sequel will share a similar theme and emotional resonance, but it will be a distinct film."

At a recent press event for the second season of the Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL), where he serves as brand ambassador, Khan, an avid cycling and biking enthusiast, remarked, "I have always loved riding, from bicycles to motorbikes. Although I don’t ride as frequently now, I encourage fans to avoid racing on public roads."
