Upcoming Projects for Salman Khan
Salman Khan's Work Front
On the professional side, Salman has two exciting films in the pipeline. He will star in director Apoorva Lakhia's upcoming project, previously known as Battle of Galwan, now titled Matrubhumi. Initially inspired by the Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese forces, reports indicate that direct references to the conflict have been omitted, necessitating reshoots. Co-starring Chitrangada Singh, the film's release has been postponed from its original April 2026 date.
Additionally, Salman has teamed up with producer Dil Raju and director Vamshi Paidipally for a project tentatively named SVC63, marking his first collaboration with actress Nayanthara. Filming has recently begun, with Rajpal Yadav reportedly joining the cast as Khan's right-hand man. It's worth noting that Salman's last major theatrical release was Sikandar, featuring Rashmika Mandanna, which unfortunately did not perform well at the box office. Stay tuned for further updates.
