Director Rohit Shetty has resumed work on the set of Golmaal 5, but the investigation into the shooting incident at his residence continues to unfold nearly two months after it occurred. On March 21, authorities reported the detention of a 14th suspect in the case, identified as Golu Pandit, who was apprehended in Uttar Pradesh with assistance from the Mumbai Crime Branch and UP STF. Pandit is one of the unidentified shooters who fired multiple rounds outside Shetty's home in Juhu on January 31. The police have been actively pursuing leads to apprehend all individuals connected to this incident. They were presented in MCOCA court on February 17 after their police custody expired. Notably, Swapnil claimed in court that his confession was coerced by police. Authorities stated that the suspects were acting under the direction of Shubham Lonkar, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In the following days, six additional suspects were apprehended in Rajasthan, with Asaram Fasale reportedly supplying the weapons used in the shooting.
