Ritesh also talked about his last conversation with Asha Bhosle, revealing that she supported his film 'Raja Shivaji'. He remembered her calling him to bless him, saying, 'I wish to see your film when it releases.' Just two weeks ago, he received a call from her family, expressing her wish to watch the movie. Emotionally concluding his thoughts, he said, 'Unfortunately, Asha Aai will not be able to see it. I miss her for many reasons.'
'Raja Shivaji' Breaks Opening Records
Ritesh Deshmukh's 'Raja Shivaji', which he directed and wrote, also features him in a leading role. The film made an impressive debut, earning approximately ₹11 crores on its opening day. According to reports, it garnered a net collection of ₹8 crores solely in the Marathi language on Friday.
