Mumbai, April 11: Rishab Shetty, an actor and filmmaker, expressed his solidarity with the team behind the film 'Jana Nayagan,' starring Vijay, after a clip from the movie was leaked online. He condemned the leak as a serious violation.

A five-minute segment, which reportedly features Vijay's introductory scene along with part of a song, has been circulating on social media platforms.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Rishab shared his thoughts, emphasizing the dedication and passion that goes into filmmaking. He stated, “Cinema is built on passion, dreams, and love. Countless people work tirelessly to bring entertainment to audiences. When someone tries to tamper with that effort, even in the smallest way, it deeply affects everyone involved.”

He labeled the leak as an “unfortunate incident” and urged audiences to respect the hard work of the filmmakers. Rishab added, “As audience please do respect the efforts and stop spreading the leaked footages. Do not kill the strength to give you many more cinemas tomorrow. I stand in solidarity with the entire team and @KvnProductions during this difficult time. Protect our cinema family. #killpiracy.”

'Jana Nayagan,' directed by H. Vinoth, features a stellar cast including Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Mamitha Baiju, Prakash Raj, and Gautham Vasudev Menon.

Numerous stars and industry professionals, including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Suriya, and Chiranjeevi, have also condemned the leak of this highly anticipated film.

Rishab Shetty was recently seen in 'Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1,' where he played multiple pivotal roles.
