A woman from Florida, Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly firing approximately 20 rounds at the singer's residence earlier this month. Ortiz has entered a plea of not guilty. The incident occurred on March 8, when she reportedly targeted Rihanna's Beverly Crest home, endangering the lives of the Grammy-winning artist, her partner A$AP Rocky, their three young children, and others present in the vicinity. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but Ortiz was taken into custody.

During a court session at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Ortiz, represented by her attorney, pleaded not guilty. According to court records, the 35-year-old allegedly fired around 20 shots from an AR-15-style rifle into the exterior wall of Rihanna's mansion at approximately 1:15 PM local time. Footage broadcasted by KABC-TV revealed multiple bullet holes in the front gate. District Attorney Nathan Hochman confirmed that both Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were in a trailer at the time of the shooting, while Rihanna's mother, their children, and staff were inside the house.

She is also prohibited from owning any firearms or ammunition.
